Burrows Fen Restoration Preview
Let the restoration begin!
Legacy mining left the Burrows Fen degraded. Waste rock from the mines covered the fen, and roads increased erosion and changed the hydrology. Fens are a type of wetland that provide critical habitat and exceptional carbon sinks, among other qualities. MSI is working to restore Burrows Fen!
